Delivery/Shipping & Returns

 PLEASE NOTE:  We are taking a long awaited break. All deliveries will resume week of 15th April. Thank you for your patience.

Standard delivery is FREE on all orders over £50 ( UK mainland) for highlands and islands please email us for a delivery quote. Delivery on orders up to £50 is £5.95

UK Mainland Light items -very small lightweight items have a special rate of £3.25 delivery 2-5 days

We aim to despatch orders ( subject to product availability) within 48hrs or sooner where possible. Standard delivery is 2 - 5 days.

Next working day delivery is £18 and is available  (Monday-Friday) - orders must be placed before 11am.  If you wish to cancel your order after it has been despatched you will be charged for both the delivery and collection cost. We will confirm delivery  (just in case an item is sold out or it is not possible for the carrier to get to you on time.)

International Delivery

Prices vary enormously according to the size and the weight of a parcel so although we have a set charge the shipping cost for your items may be considerably more than our standard charge.  We will check with the courier when you place your order and notify you of any additional costs.

Any duty or taxes at the country entry is your responsibility.

Delivery times:
Unfortunately we are not currently delivering to the EU
USA and Rest of the world - 5-14 days - £ 30

Please note we are unable to deliver large items (eg. furniture) outside of the UK

For UK  - furniture delivery please email us with your postcode and we can send you a quote for delivery.
We use a trackable courier service for all our deliveries.  If you are not in when the courier calls they will leave a card for you to contact them to re-arrange delivery.  It is important that you do this to avoid the parcel being returned to us and then incurring a further delivery charge.
If your parcel does not arrive when expected please contact us and we will track your parcel.  If your order contains a particularly heavy item it may necessary to contact you for an additional payment. If you decide you do not wish to go ahead with your order then we will arrange a refund. 


We hope you will be delighted with your order but we do understand that sometimes you may wish to return an item.

Please make sure that you contact us - at within 14 days of receipt of your order if you wish to return an item.  
 We will be happy to offer you an exchange, refund or credit note as long as the goods are returned to us in perfect condition and in their original undamaged packaging.  Items must be in a re-saleable condition. There will be a 10% re-stocking fee deducted from your refund.
  We suggest you use a trackable service and retain your proof of postage as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. You will be responsible for the cost of delivery to us. 

Refunds will be processed within 28 days of receiving the goods back from you.  The refund will be made via your original method of payment. A re-stocking fee of 10%will be charged

Overseas Returns

Please contact us at hello@redhentrading  within 14 days of receipt of your order if you wish to return an item. Overseas orders will be refunded in pounds sterling. Please make sure the item is packed securely and is returned in its original undamaged packaging. We reserve the right to refuse an item which is not received in a saleable condition. Please be aware the cost of the return is your responsibility.

We cannot be responsible for any fluctuations in exchange rates and consequential loss of currency as a result.
